Dr. Bruce Haskell


Dr. Haskell earned his Dental and Arts and Sciences degree from the University of Pittsburg, with a Doctorate in Physical Anthropology. He obtained his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Rochester and has been practicing in the Louisville area since 1978. Prior to this, he served in the US Air Force Dental Corps and at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, England. He is currently a Clinical Professor at the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry.

An internationally respected author and lecturer in orthodontics, Dr. Haskell has published numerous works and is the inventor of the renowned Bluegrass Thumb-Sucking Appliance. He is also a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, Fellow of The American College of Dentists, American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Alpha Omega.

Outside the office, Dr. Haskell and his wife, Joy, have 3 daughters and is very active in his off-hours. He enjoys photography, recumbent bicycle riding, hiking, camping, as well as boating and amateur radio.
